Information on the procedure of foreigners entry to (exit from) Ukraine.

     At present, the Ukrainian legislation provides for both visa and visa-free entry procedure for foreigners (foreign citizens and non-citizens).

     The rules of foreigners entry to (exit from) Ukraine are regulated by Ukrainian law On Legal Status of Foreigners, of February 4, 1994, by the Rules of foreigners entry to Ukraine, their exit from Ukraine and transit through its territory (under the Decree N 1074 by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers of December 29, 1995) and by the Rules of obtaining visa documents for entry to Ukraine(under the Decree N 227 by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers of February 20, 1999).

     Foreigners shall enter/exit Ukraine through the crossing points on the State frontier, in case of presence of a national passport and a visa, if otherwise is not specified by the Ukrainian legislation.

All categories of visas are issued by Ukraine's diplomatic missions and consular offices abroad.

T (tourist visa) - documents proving the tourist nature of the trip.

     The grounds for the TOURIST VISA registration is OFFICIAL LETTER of INVITATION issued by Ukraine’s travel company, which confirm the tourist character of the trip.

 In order to issue an official letter of invitation we need following data:

-      Scanned copy of passport;

-      Dates of entry and exit Ukraine;

-      Places to visit in Ukraine.

 Visa support is proving only in case of buying tourist package!!! And it should be prepaid before be issued!!!

Letter of Invitation that provides our company is a document that confirms that a person will visit Ukraine as a tourist in definite period. According to rules this period must not exceed 3 month.

This letter is not a 100 % guarantee that the Embassy will surely issue a visa for a person. At the same time it serves as recommendation for embassy and one of significant grounds to issue visa.

On basis of this Letter a person can apply for only tourist visa, not private, not business. That means that a person is going to visit Ukraine as a tourist (not with any private or business purposes) and he should put in all required documents the tourism as a purpose of visit.
